Until then, here are three facts that say quite a bit about me—and why Banner Day came to be.
1. I'm not a marketing or advertising grad...
I studied creative writing and literature, and wrote my honors thesis in original poetry. You can actually read the Xeroxed version archived in Elon University’s Library. As far as bios go, you can’t get more personal (but still professional) than that.
It may have been some other kind of photocopier but—thanks to the power of branding—this footnote is just for kicks.
2. After landing my first freelance writing gig over a decade ago, I never stopped working for myself...
Even while serving full-time as the first and (then) only messaging lead for a top brand experience agency in Atlanta, I kept writing for local publications and fellow entrepreneurs. The latter is the work I love the most.
3. I believe great ideas—like most truly valuable things—are meant to be shared, not owned...
There are more than enough taglines, designs, “what ifs?” and “why nots?” out there for all of us. As an advisor, colleague, and collaborator, I’ve helped more than 120 clients put brand-building, business-enhancing, audience-enchanting ideas to work for their companies.
