For Founder Elizabeth Burdette, we were not the obvious choice. “Initially, I wasn't sure if Bloom was a good candidate for professional branding. We are a volunteer-driven, grassroots organization that, at that point, had done almost everything ourselves.” She was, however, intrigued. “I was curious to see how we could grow with more creative, polished messaging and images.”
And that’s exactly what we delivered—custom-designed with her smaller budget and big dreams in mind.
We kept the heartiest roots of the current brand identity, including the richly layered meaning and symbolism of “bloom”, then dug deeper into what made the organization’s approach and impact uniquely inspiring. Everything grew from there: From a spot-on icon that helped carry the brand story across touchpoints, to a voice that calls their audiences together, to an expansion strategy for branding future chapters (Bloom’s official “Branches”, of course)... And bee-yond.
“Working on Bloom’s branding was deeply personal and purposeful. I wasn’t just designing visuals—I was helping shape a space where women feel seen, connected, and celebrated. Every color and symbol was chosen to reflect a sense of belonging and collective growth.”
“Never in my wildest dreams could I have anticipated how fabulous the entire experience with Banner Day would be. Molly and the entire team didn’t just provide guidance and their expertise, they became Bloom ‘super fans,’ encouraging me and cheering for us every step of the way. The finished product is not only beautiful, but it captures the essence of our mission and community perfectly.”
“Collaborating with Molly and Katie on the Bloom branding was a beautifully balanced process. Their thoughtfulness and vision helped shape the strategy and language, while I focused on translating that into a visual identity rooted in belonging and celebration. With Rebecca’s steady coordination, the whole project moved with clarity and purpose.”
